Kylo Ren Electronic Lightsaber
The Kylo Ren Electronic Lightsaber is a great product from Disney that comes in a partially covered box with the handle protruding at one end. On the box you can see a picture of Kylo Ren with is Lightsaber in hand and the name of the product on the other side. The features of this device which are outlined on the box state that this product comes with lights and sound effects and has a dueling lightsaber effect which is a vibration feedback when you are mock battling with another lightsaber.
On the main side of the box you have a great Kylo Ren box art which features him with a Light saber and the features of the lightsaber itself across it.
Who is this for?
This product is great for 3 years old and up and is an ideal toy for mock battles, reenactments or simple play.
What does it look like?
The Lightsaber itself has a great paint job finish on the handle which is well done in black and the attention to detail is very good as the handle has really great details such as what looks like exposed circuitry and a red wire lead and the end has an open point. The entire construction is plastic with the main blade being in red and the two side blades being much smaller and being made of the same plastic material with a fiery pattern to them.
Powered On
When powered on with the flick of the switch the blade lights up in an amazing light show with cool sound effects and a glowing amber color and gives a cool action sounds as if it’s clashing with another saber. When powered off it shuts down with an equally cool and efficient sound effects. You also get a cool vibration feedback effect with the Kylo Ren Electronic Lightsaber powered on and what I really like is the sound effects which is different from other lightsabers that have been encountered from other sets.
When you wave the blade around you also get a cool swinging sound and when you make contact with another object such as a lightsaber or surface you get a clashing effect which is great for reenacting cool battles. To really see what the lightsaber looks like I advise you to actually check it out in a dark room in which you can see the light effects in all their glory.
Dueling
When dueling while this is well made it would be advised that you don’t hit two of these together too hard as they might get damaged. The smart thing to do would be to use moderate force and make the sound effect do the rest.
Conclusion
Overall this thing is really amazing and with a Kylo Ren mask you will look totally bad ass and just like something straight out of the star wars movie. So I highly recommend that you check this unit out after all so many others have been impressed by this thing and I am sure you will be too.
